Rapidly developing internet technology is opening up multiple new business opportunities for operators and enterprises, spanning many industries - public safety, healthcare, connected mobility, smart cities and more. Sony’s vision is to expand the human possibilities of technology to improve people’s lives and help them thrive by enabling a programmable world where billions of people, things, sensors and devices are connected. At Sony, we are looking to target three different consumer segments: (1) Gen Y (under 25) (2) Young Professionals/D.I.N.K.s (double incomes no kids, 25 to 34) (3) Families (35 to 54).
